New York native Alex Kramer has long been a tastemaker in the worlds of fashion and design. Her eye for aesthetics was fostered during an upbringing spent between New York City and Europe. At a young age, she began collecting vintage designer fashion, and her favorite pieces are still a part of her ever-growing collection. After studying literature at Georgetown University, Kramer honed her creative talents as a photo editor at the hip-hop authority magazine The Source, working on shoots with then emerging artists Jay-Z, Puff Daddy, Eminem and Lauryn Hill. Later, she was appointed head of visuals for the launch of Luxuryfinder.com one of the first web-based luxury brand retailers. Most recently, she designed a capsule collection for Brazilian label Miele by Carlos Miele. Kramer’s multi-disciplinary artistic background, combined with her innate understanding of a chic cosmopolitan lifestyle, has found a home in her coolly elegant and wearable line.
